Frimley, UK, August 11th, 2010 – Onbrez Breezhaler (indacaterol), the first 24-hour long-acting beta agonist (LABA) for the treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in adults, has been launched today by Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd. This once daily medication is the first new treatment for COPD available in the UK for eight years.
